Tongshiling is known for its Han Dynasty copper smelting and bronze drum casting sites and is a key cultural heritage protection unit in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Over 120 bronze drums were unearthed in Beiliu, including the world’s largest bronze drum, King of Bronze Drums, which was cast at Tongshiling. The highest peak, Phoenix Summit, stands at an elevation of 421.9 meters.
Tongshiling is situated 10 kilometers east of Beiliu City in Min’an Town, divided into two mountains, large and small. The Guijiang River flows from south to north around the mountains, with the mountain layers rising sharply and majestically. The stones are all of a striking purple-copper color, with some standing alone with a unique structure, and others forming a vast expanse with a powerful presence. These breathtaking peaks and peculiar rocks stand in various shapes and forms, vividly displaying a myriad of expressions.
