As the saying goes, “A small bamboo raft flows eastward, with towering green mountains on both sides.” The journey downstream is like a boat on a lake in calm waters, with natural drops resembling surfing. Although screams can be heard continuously, there is no real danger.
Shallow banks are wide and colorful with pebbles, where fish can be counted; deep pools suddenly appear, with bottomless depths that are invisible to the eye, yet the water surface is as calm as a mirror. The banks are shaded by green bamboo, mulberry forests, and reed patches. The reflection of blue skies, white clouds, green mountains, and bamboo in the water is indescribable.
