Tongyin Ancient Temple is located in Shantou. The temple faces south with a pavilion built in front. Inside the temple, there is a scripture repository and the Mahavira Hall. To the east of the Mahavira Hall stands the Ancestral Hall Building, with a reclining Buddha on the roof. To the west, there is the living room building, with the Hall of Bodhidharma on the roof.
