The Northern Qi Earthen Great Wall Ruins are situated in Yaochang Village, Yongshun Town, within the Tongzhou District of Beijing. These ruins, originally constructed during the Tianbao years of the Northern Qi Dynasty (A.D. 551-559), have a rich history spanning over 1400 years.
At its peak, the wall stood an impressive 7 to 8 meters high. Today, the remaining sections of the wall reach a height of between 4 to 6 meters. The width of the wall varies significantly, with the widest point measuring over 13 meters and the narrowest point being nearly 9 meters.
