Tongzi’ao Village is located in Shuangpai County, Yongzhou. Due to the large number of ginkgo trees growing here, it attracts a large number of photography enthusiasts every autumn and has become a beautiful scenic spot in Yongzhou. When arriving at Tongzi’ao Village, one can see a large golden ginkgo forest in the mountains, stretching for more than ten kilometers. It is like the maple leaves of Fragrant Hills, like the colorful Jiuzhaigou, and like the golden autumn ancient moon poplars in northern frontier areas, with a golden view everywhere.
According to the local people, there are more than 200 ginkgo trees in the Tongzi’ao area. Among them, there are more than 90 trees that are over a hundred years old, and there are four or five places where 20 to 30 trees are connected to form a forest. Entering these patches of ginkgo forests, people seem to enter a golden dream. The sunlight refracts down through the leaves. The golden ginkgo trees, the golden fallen leaves, coupled with the high mountains, deep valleys, dense forests, and ancient folk houses, are like a colorful oil painting, making people linger and forget to return.Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:00 to 17:30.
