Touring Lingdingyang Sea – Sea Hornet • Long-distance Route Features: Zhuhai is located at the estuary of the Pearl River and is one of China’s special economic zones. It has the reputation of a city of hundreds of islands. A shining pearl on the coast of the South China Sea, with beautiful environment, picturesque landscapes and vast sea areas. There are about more than 100 islands of various sizes. This route will lead tourists to deeply tour eight islands with distinct characteristics and worth visiting.

First Stop of Wonderful Trip – ‘Sail’ Twin Towers of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge
The ‘Sail’ twin towers are the Jiuzhou shipping channel bridge. Two sail-shaped tower columns equivalent to a 30-story building stand on the south coast, implying ‘set sail and have a smooth journey’.
Second Stop – ‘Chinese Knot’ of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge
The ‘Chinese Knot’ is 50.3 meters high and 28.09 meters wide, equivalent to a quarter of a football field. During manufacturing, it is divided into 16 sections. The largest section weighs about 50 tons. After manufacturing, the sections are assembled and hoisted one by one.
Third Stop – East and West Artificial Islands
The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge has two artificial islands, namely the East Artificial Island and the West Artificial Island.
1. The west side of the East Artificial Island is 1563 meters from the center of the Tonggu shipping channel. It is laid out in an oval shape. The island is 625 meters long and 225 meters wide, with a total area of 103,161 square meters. In addition to the maintenance and rescue functions, the East Artificial Island has additional tourism service functions, and a circular island walkway is built for sightseeing.
2. The east side of the West Artificial Island is 2018 meters from the center of the Lingding West shipping channel. It is also set as an oval island. The island is 625 meters long and 185 meters wide, with a total area of 97,962 square meters. The West Artificial Island is mainly for management functions and has operation, maintenance and rescue stations.
Fourth Stop – Lantau Island, Hong Kong
Lantau Island is located in the southwest of Hong Kong, China. It is the largest island in Hong Kong, China, with an area of 147 square kilometers, nearly twice the area of Hong Kong Island, the second largest island in Hong Kong. With the successive completion of the Hong Kong International Airport, Tsing Ma Bridge and others, Lantau Island is connected to the urban area of Hong Kong.
Fifth Stop – Wind Farm

Sixth Stop – International Anchorage
Anchorage refers to the water area where ships drop anchor on the water for safe berthing, sheltering from wind and typhoons, waiting for inspection and pilotage, engaging in water transshipment, assembling and disassembling fleets and other operations. During the voyage, tourists will enjoy the spectacular scene of numerous ocean-going giant ships and ten-thousand-ton cargo ships complementing each other up close in the international anchorage.
The seventh stop – Dong’ao Island, a classic island destination in Zhuhai City, is located in the southeast of Xiangzhou District. It boasts both colorful terrestrial cultures and the mysterious underwater world. The island is named Dong’ao Island due to the Dong’ao Bay on its east side, which penetrates about 1500 meters into the middle, forming a large concave area. The beaches of Dong’ao Island are its main attraction, with three beaches: Nansha Bay, Da Zhu Bay, and Xiao Zhu Bay, among which Nansha Bay is the most famous.
The eighth stop – Changqin Island, positioned as an international music leisure island, is a paradise by the sea suitable for all seasons. Changqin Island creates an immersive musical atmosphere across the island with a rich variety of musical installations. Here, a blue sea of melodious tunes will be formed, promoting the exchange and prosperity of world music art, and building an international music IP landmark. At the same time, Changqin Island will lead the further development of Zhuhai’s cultural tourism industry and continue to enhance the city’s image. Open all year round from 07:00 to 20:30.
