The Beidi Ancient Temple is a small temple by the sea. The incense burner is above the rocks by the sea. This temple is said to have been built in 1805. Some people say it was built by Chaoshan fishermen in Stanley. There is also a saying that it was a monitoring stronghold built by the pirate Cheung Po Tsai back then. It is said that there is a passage under the shrine that leads to Cheung Po Tsai Cave. Later, Cheung Po Tsai surrendered and this cave was closed. The specific opening hours are subject to the announcements on site at the scenic spot.
