She Tin Tsang Tai Uk, located beside the Lion Rock Tunnel Road in the eastern part of Sha Tin, New Territories, was originally named Shan Xia Wei. The village is named Tsang Tai Uk because all residents share the surname Tsang. It is a very representative Hakka traditional-style walled village in Hong Kong and one of the better-preserved walled villages in the area. Open all year round, 24 hours a day, with specific business status subject to the day’s opening conditions.
