Queen’s Hill Barracks is located south of Sheung Shui Road in Fanling military land, New Territories North, covering an area of 25.4 hectares (approximately 2.734 million square feet), roughly equivalent to Victoria Park in size. Originally serving as the barracks for the British Army stationed in Hong Kong, it was later transformed into a training base for the Police Dog Unit and the Police Search Unit, but now it has been abandoned. The barracks are open to the public all year round, with full-day access.
