Tuquan Spring is located in Tuquan Village, Liubu Town, southern mountainous area of Jinan. The spring water is abundant and powerful, and never dries up. After gushing out, the spring takes on a protruding shape, so it is also called Tuquan because of its shape. The spring pool is in the shape of a well, with a length and width of 1 meter each and a depth of 7 meters. It is built with stones. The water flows eastward through the square hole on the upper well wall of the pool and then turns south to flow slowly along the stone canal on the south side of the east-west avenue, forming a situation where the stream embraces and the canal winds around. Therefore, in ancient times, this village was called Xibao Village. The village women by the spring are washing clothes and laughing, everywhere showing the simple folk customs in the suburbs of Jinan. Opening hours: open all day from January 1st to December 31st.
