Twelve Peaks is located in the Daruo Yan scenic area, approximately 2 kilometers away from Taogong Cave. They are a group of rhyolite peaks formed by the weathering of joints, erosion by water, and the uplift of the Earth’s crust. These peaks exhibit a variety of shapes, each resembling something different, with lifelike images that change with the viewer’s movement. They have been named Bao Guan Peak, Xiang Lu Peak, Xian Zhang Peak, Tian Zhu Peak, Lian Hua Peak, Zhan Qi Peak, Shi Sun Peak, Heng Qin Peak, Zhuo Bi Peak, Xi Jiao Peak, Shi Bei Peak, and Tong Zi Peak.

The Twelve Peaks stand tall, often shrouded in clouds and mist at the summit, creating an ethereal and mysterious atmosphere. They are considered the soul treasures gifted by nature to Nanxi River. The highest peak, Bao Guan Peak, has an elevation of 517 meters. Tian Zhu Peak stands like a towering pillar, rising abruptly from the mountain’s waist with a relative height of about 250 meters, which is quite spectacular.
