The Beast Bowl’s slide design is quite distinctive; it has a sensation akin to flushing a toilet, which is quite amusing. You can hold your breath and rush to the bottom of the bowl amidst swirling water, experiencing the thrill of playing with water. The Hurricane Eye next door is also an attraction worth experiencing, offering a ride on whirlwind waves and a plunge down rapids for a memorable adventure.

Jisu Shuimang (Extreme Aqua Coaster)

The Extreme Aqua Coaster is situated in the upper right corner of the water park. Known as the four-slide water drop tower, it’s an attraction that should not be missed. Its appearance alone is enough to excite. Caution is advised for the faint-hearted, as there are specific requirements for participants: a minimum height of 1.45 meters and a weight between 100 and 220 pounds.

Standing atop, the pedal beneath your feet suddenly opens, and you plummet vertically into a translucent human body slide. You’ll race down at a speed of 1000 meters per minute, heading straight for the water’s surface!

Family Slide & Tian Di Fan Fa (Sky Raft)

Shanghai Happy Valley Experience

We started with the Family Slide, which offers a brief period of suspense. Before ascending, there’s a concern about being flung out. I attempted to capture a first-person perspective video but failed even after two tries, unable to let go. The slide provides an exhilarating ride with ups and downs. Both attractions stand at 15 meters in height. One is an adventure raft slide, while the other is a family raft slide. The sliding process of Tian Di Fan Fa (Sky Raft) is winding and gentle, with collisions and rotations that induce a sense of dizziness.

The Octopus Slide is the attraction with the most pipes. Eight people form a group, and there’s a drop of 17.6 meters. Protective gear is mandatory before entering, as you slide down with your own mat. If not careful, scratches can occur. Everyone ascends with a sliding mat, followed by instructions. Hold tight with both hands, tuck your abdomen in, and cross your calves and bend them. Balance is crucial during the slide. While you might imagine the sensation of speeding down, the reality is that water in the pipe can hit your face, making it hard to keep your eyes open. Even if you can, the water splashing up as you descend can leave you disoriented.
