The Volcano Island Tourism and Leisure Resort is located in Qianting Town, Zhangpu County, Fujian Province. Nestled against a backdrop of blue skies, clear seas, sandy beaches, and lush greenery, it is one of China’s rare coastal volcanic geological heritage sites. It was approved by the Ministry of Land and Resources as one of the first national geological parks in 2001 and officially opened in 2004, earning the title of ‘Top Ten Tourism Brands in Fujian’. In 2007, it was rated as a national 4A-level scenic spot. Opening hours: 08:15-18:00 from May 1st to October 7th; 08:15-17:30 from October 8th to April 30th.
