Wang Xiantan’s Tomb is located in Jinjialing Street, Laoshan District. Adjacent to Kang Youwei’s Tomb, the tomb is circular with a tombstone at the front, which is inscribed with ‘Mr. Wang Xiantan’s Tomb, respectfully inscribed by Kong Decheng from Qufu, on a lucky day in January 1991’. Surrounding the tomb are stone walls, steps, and railings, all made of granite. Wang Xiantan was a renowned archaeologist, librarian, ancient literature scholar, and expert in calligraphy, phonology, and epigraphy in China. He was also well-versed in classical literature and excelled in poetry, calligraphy, and seal carving, recognized as a painter, calligrapher, and seal engraver.
