Wangjiang Hot Spring in Chongqing is located on Wangjiang Road, Jiangbei District, Chongqing City, at the mouth of Tongluo Gorge of the Yangtze River. It is one of the four major scenic spots in Tieshanping Forest Park, Jiangbei District. Traditional Wangjiang Hot Spring consists of two parts: Tongluo Gorge Hot Spring and Tianqu Hot Spring. Tongluo Gorge Hot Spring is located on the side of Wangjiang Road close to the Yangtze River. It is composed of three medium-sized outdoor hot spring pools. Tianqu Hot Spring is located on the side of Wangjiang Road close to the mountain. It consists of two outdoor pools and a series of small indoor pools located in caves.
Wangjiang Hot Spring is a medical thermal mineral water hot spring with a daily flow of 2,500 cubic meters. The outlet water temperature of this hot spring is 41 degrees Celsius. It belongs to warm hot water in low-temperature hot water resources. The components that reach the medical value concentration are metaboric acid and metasilicic acid. In addition, there are also medical thermal mineral water marker components such as carbon dioxide, lithium, radium, radon, and metaphosphoric acid. It is suitable for bath therapy, cough therapy, inhalation therapy and showering.
