Wangwu Reservoir is located in the middle and upper reaches of the Huangshui River in Longkou City, Shandong Province, within the territories of Shi Liang Town and Qi Jia Town. It covers an area of approximately 3,525 hectares, controls a basin area of 320 square kilometers, and has a total storage capacity of about 149 million cubic meters. The reservoir serves multiple functions, including flood control, irrigation, urban water supply, and fish farming, making it a large-scale reservoir. It is also a significant source of urban and industrial water for Longkou City. It is open all year round and accessible 24 hours a day.
