The Wangying Tower is the first landmark building that one encounters after entering the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea scenic area. It is located between the Eight Immortals Wall and the Eight Immortals Temple. The first and second floors of the Wangying Tower are the Museum of Traditional Chinese Art. On display are thousands of Chinese art treasures, including meticulously crafted and collected handed-down jade wares, porcelain wares, and rare inkstones. There is an inlaid lacquer carving mural made of 1888 pieces of jadeite, ivory, and jade – Picture of Immortals Offering Birthday Felicitations, which is the largest one since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. There is a jade carving – Prosperity of the Dragon, which is 2 meters high, 1.6 meters wide, and weighs 1 ton. It is carved with mountains, waterfalls, trees, flowers, insects, fish, birds and beasts. The clear spring at the top winds down from the dragon’s mouth and falls into the pool water at the bottom. There is a sculptural porcelain vase – One Hundred and Eight Heroes of the Water Margin, which is 1.7 meters high, 45 centimeters in diameter, and 1.4 centimeters in wall thickness, with vivid and three-dimensional shapes.
