Wanle Island is located in Huanren Manchu Autonomous County at the southern foot of Changbai Mountain in the northeastern border of China. It is in Huanlong Lake, a freshwater lake. Surrounded by mountains and water on all sides, it is like a paradise in the lake and is a well-known tourist destination.
Huanlong Lake is located behind Wunu Mountain. When overlooking from a high place, it resembles a soaring dragon, hence its name. It is an artificial lake with a total reservoir capacity of 3.46 billion cubic meters and a water area of 98 square kilometers. It is also an important water source base in Liaoning Province.
