The Waterfall Pavilion stands majestically on the ridge extending from Yin Mountain. Following the stone steps to the left of the Sword Pond and ascending spirally, one can reach the pavilion. This is a hexagonal pavilion with a red roof. Upon ascending to the pavilion, one can look eastward and take in the full panorama of the Sword Waterfall, with the green mountains on both sides framing the flowing water, from top to bottom, without any obstruction.
Being a hundred feet away from the Sword Pond waterfall and with the steep terrain of the mountain, the designer’s decision to place the Waterfall Pavilion here to provide a comprehensive view of the Sword Pond waterfall is indeed a unique and thoughtful design. No wonder tourists, after enjoying the waterfall at Sword Pond, still feel unsatisfied and continue to follow the winding mountain path to climb to the Waterfall Pavilion for a panoramic view.
The pavilion is open all year round from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
