Weifang City Museum is located at 6616 Dongfeng East Street, Kuiwen District, Weifang City, Shandong Province. Initially established in 1962, the new museum building was completed and opened on December 20, 1999. It is a large-scale comprehensive museum with ancient architectural style.
The new museum building covers an area of 24,053.5 square meters with a construction area of 18,669.7 square meters. It features several permanent exhibitions, including a brief history of Weifang, museum-stored calligraphy and paintings, folk customs and folk arts, and a stone carving art corridor. The museum houses nearly 80,000 cultural relics, with 33 different types of collections. Opening hours are from May 1st to September 30th, Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-17:00; from October 1st to October 6th, Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-16:30; from October 8th to April 30th, Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00-16:30; January 1st to October 6th, closed all day on Mondays; October 8th to December 31st, closed all day on Mondays; October 7th, 09:00-17:00.
