Shengshui Temple Scenic Area, located in Ya Xi Town, Rongcheng City, is the birthplace of ‘Quanzhen Taoism’ and has a history of over 800 years, named for the sacred spring within the temple. The area boasts beautiful scenery with majestic halls, platforms, pavilions, and altars, and over 30 natural landscapes.
Key attractions within Shengshui Temple Scenic Area include Yongjin Spring, Shengshui Palace, Wolong Cave, and the Ginkgo Tree. Recently, a Wanshou Tower has been added, along with a rare bird farm, a bird language forest, a hunting ground, and a 1000-meter aerial tramway. Additionally, a 268-meter long and 8-meter wide calligraphy corridor by a Rongcheng-born general has been constructed. The scenic area also features historical relics left by the Quanzhen Yuyang Master, such as a meditation house, wall fingerprints, and the foundation of an ancient temple. It is a blessed land with layered peaks, pine and bamboo towers, and ancient caves, where a floating thousand-meter tramway traverses through the pine and locust forest sea, leading to the Bailong Lake, which has a capacity of 500,000 cubic meters, and directly to the Qi Zhen Altar, with a 4000-acre forest nature reserve in view. Opening hours are from 08:00 to 17:00 all year round. Preferential policies: Children under 1.2 meters (not including) are free; children between 1.2 meters (including) and 1.4 meters (including) receive discounts. Students aged 18 (including) and below who are full-time middle and high school students (excluding adult education and graduate students) can receive discounts with their student IDs.
