Weiling Park is located in the northern part of Luohu District, Shenzhen City, adjacent to Buji Street in the north and Buji Customs in the west. The planned area is 87 hectares, situated in the subtropical maritime monsoon climate zone. The terrain is predominantly low hills and ridges, with vegetation mainly consisting of artificial forests and evergreen broad-leaved forests. There are six peaks, with the main peak, Xiaweiling, reaching a height of 186.
5 meters. Weiling Park features numerous small peaks with layered ridges, two streams, and lush mountain vegetation, including 505 species of wild vascular plants across 344 genera and 131 families. In 2002, the Shenzhen Municipal Government approved the construction of Weiling Park as a ‘municipal open ecological park on the edge of the special zone, providing leisure, entertainment, fitness, and sightseeing for visitors. ‘ Currently, the park is still in an undeveloped stage, with its landscape resources yet to be fully planned. In the future, the park will be planned and constructed with natural mountains and valleys as the framework, featuring natural landscapes and ecological environments formed by scenic forests and wild plant communities.
