The Wenfeng Scenic Area is located across the river from Wushan County. The scenic area features construction characteristics and styles with mountains as the bones, water as the soul, green as the veins, and culture as the connotation. It is an urban suburban park integrating ecological protection, Taoist experience, sightseeing, and fitness and entertainment functions. The pavilions, terraces, buildings, and attics in the scenic area are unique and novel.

Especially the corridor built along the ridge, overlooking the Yangtze River, seems dangerous. Walking on it is another special enjoyment. The Wenfeng Scenic Area is a national 4A-level scenic area. The core Wenfeng Taoist Temple in the scenic area was built in the Ming Dynasty and is a Taoist temple of the Quanzhen School. Zhang Sanfeng once practiced here. The walking path along the peak ridge is 8 kilometers long.

You can not only enjoy the magnificent view of a flat lake emerging from a high gorge, but also appreciate the setting sun over a long river and overlook the surging Yangtze River. Here, human resources and natural scenery blend together. Standing among the red leaves all over the mountain, overlooking the majestic view of the flat lake in a high gorge, looking far into the changes of Wushan clouds and rain, looking back at the beauty of the new immigrant city, and realizing the realm of the unity of heaven and man.

The feeling of ‘Coming to Wenfeng, intoxicated by Wenfeng. I am transcendent in the heaven and earth.’ will naturally arise.
