The Wenta Tower is located at No. 104, Longjin West Road. It is an ancient pagoda with a hexagonal, golden-pointed roof and a wooden structure. The Zhiwan Wenta Tower is also known as the Wenbi Tower and the Wenchang Tower. It faces north and is a hexagonal two-story pavilion-style brick tower with a height of about 13.6 meters (another theory says the tower is 13.03 meters high). The base is made of stone. The tower body is built with large blue bricks from Dongguan, with a diameter of 5 meters. There is a small eave at the shallow waist of the second floor. The eaves of the entire tower are all equipped with plain-colored eaves tiles and tubular tiles. The topmost ceramic gourd is as high as 2 meters. The tower’s window decorations are simple and small, made of white plaster. Plain and elegant. The stone carvings with the words ‘Nanzhou’ and ‘Yunjin Pavilion’ are embedded in the doorway on the first floor and the top of the window on the second floor of the ancient tower. Opening hours: Open from 09:00 to 12:00 all year round; Open from 13:00 to 17:00 all year round.
