The Zigong Lantern Festival, a national intangible cultural heritage with the reputation of ‘the best lantern in the world’, has landed on Beijing Wenyu River Park on a large scale for the first time. It presents capital citizens and tourists with an immersive night cultural experience integrating eating, drinking, sightseeing, shopping and appreciation. Thousands of sets of colorful lanterns cover an area of 400 mu and brilliantly light up the capital’s night sky in the Spring Festival of the Year of the Dragon.
