West Lake Museum is a specialized museum dedicated to the lake, facing the West Lake itself. Operating hours are all year round: Monday, Wednesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00; Tuesdays are closed all day; and on New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Qingming Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day from 09:00 to 17:00. Different sub-venues within the scenic area have different opening times, with specific details available on the official website. West Lake Museum Area: 09:00-17:00 (last entry at 16:30); Celebrity Hall Area: 08:30-16:30 (last entry at 16:00); Official Kiln Area: 08:30-16:30 (last entry at 16:00).
Service facilities include a parking lot with the following charges: daytime (8 am to 8 pm), 10 yuan per vehicle per hour; nighttime (8 pm to 8 am the next day), 5 yuan per vehicle per entry. During the National Day and Spring Festival holidays, the daytime rate is 30 yuan per vehicle per hour, and during short holidays and peak tourist seasons (March 15 to May 31, September 15 to November 30), the weekend daytime rate is 20 yuan per vehicle per hour. Large buses can drop off passengers at the designated area at Qianwangci Parking Lot entrance and must follow traffic police regulations for immediate departure.
