Wild Island WILDISLAND, originally established as the Dongjiang Glutinous Rice Factory in 1951, has been transformed from its abandoned state into a small-scale artistic and cultural living community. Ruins and old brewing vats are now accompanied by lush greenery, creating a unique landscape.
The community, though compact, houses a coffee shop, a simple meal restaurant, a bookstore, and a grocery store. Various small markets are frequently held during weekends and holidays. Open all year round from January 1st to December 31st, it is accessible 24/7.
