The Wobei Pavilion is located in the Penglai Pavilion scenic area. It is named after the horizontal inscribed stone tablets of Su Shi’s ‘Poem on Mirage’ and ‘After Reading Wu Daozi’s Paintings’. The lying stone tablet in the pavilion has attracted countless scholars and literati to come and appreciate it. On the back of the tablet is engraved Su Shi’s ‘Poem on Mirage’ in regular script, and on the front is engraved ‘After Reading Wu Daozi’s Paintings’ in running script. This lying stone tablet is one of the precious stone inscriptions in the Penglai Pavilion and has important historical value and calligraphic art value.
