Wolong Temple is located on Linglong Mountain in Lin’an City. The stone path winds and the forest springs are quiet and secluded. It is a Buddhist holy place with a history of thousands of years. There is a stone step trail on Linglong Mountain. It is built along the cave. The cave turns with the mountain and winds in nine curves. On both sides, ancient trees are lush and shady. On the cliff on the left side of the tourist road, there are cliff inscriptions since the Song Dynasty, which are especially precious. Wolong Temple has many famous cultural relics and historic sites, such as the tomb of Qin Cao, a famous prostitute in the Northern Song Dynasty, Jiuzhe Rock, the stele of Su Shi’s statue, Linglong Spring, Tianwang Hall, Mahavira Hall, Tathagata Buddha statue, stone Guanyin statue, and the stupa of Monk Renshan. Especially at the mountain gate of entering the temple, the plaque ‘Linglong Wonderland’ and the couplet ‘The mountain is exquisite, the water is exquisite, and the landscape is exquisite; the bell is distant, the tower is distant, and the bell tower is distant’ are fascinating.
