Wolong Valley Ecological Scenic Area is located in Wande Town, Changqing County, 50 kilometers away from Jinan City, covering an area of over 6,000 acres and is a municipal-level forest park.
The scenic area is adjacent to Mount Tai in the south, backed by Lingyan Temple in the north, and is only 500 meters away from National Highway 104 in the west, situated on the ‘Shan Shui Sheng Ren’ (Mountains, Waters, and Sages) golden tourism line in Shandong Province.
Nestled at the foot of the Qi Great Wall, Wolong Valley boasts beautiful natural scenery, deep and intricate valleys, peculiar pine trees and strange rocks scattered throughout, surrounded by steep peaks and cliffs, with lush vegetation, evergreen all year round, and perennial streams, waterfalls, and brooks.
Venturing into the forest, one can find precious traditional Chinese medicinal herbs growing in the depths, such as ginseng, Polygonum multiflorum, Scutellaria baicalensis, and Ganoderma lucidum.
