The original site of the Wong Tai Sin Temple in Guangzhou is in Huadi Village, Fangcun District, Guangzhou. The reconstructed Wong Tai Sin Temple is located at No. 1, Gucu Road, Fangcun District. It is very close to Fangcun and Huadiwan subway stations. The Wong Tai Sin Temple in Guangzhou was built in the year of Ji Hai (1899) in the Qing Dynasty. It was damaged by war in the 1910s. However, from the ruins, we can see that decorations such as stone carved couplets, embossed stone pillars, plaques, door ornaments, stone lions, etc. are exquisitely carved. Wong Tai Sin Temple is a tourist temple landscape that integrates traditional customs, culture, art and tourism. The entire temple now has buildings such as the main hall of Wong Tai Sin, Doumu Temple, Confucius Temple, Lu Zu Temple, Merit Hall, and Guanyin Temple. The temple covers an area of more than 18,000 square meters. In addition to the main hall, the Grand Hall of Sakyamuni, there are also Santang Hall, Congxin Garden, etc. Among them, the archway building has distinct characteristics and fully displays traditional Chinese culture. The Nine Dragon Wall in Wong Tai Sin Temple is built in imitation of the Nine Dragon Wall in Beijing. The wall is engraved with poems inscribed by leaders of the Buddhist Association of China, adding to the traditional Chinese characteristics of Wong Tai Sin Temple.
