The Wu Family Mansion in Jiujiang is located in the second bay of the thirteen bays and was originally built by Vietnamese Chinese brothers Wu Gengnan and Wu Changru during the late Qing Dynasty, specifically in the Guangxu period (1887).

The mansion currently covers an area of approximately 7000 square meters, featuring six traditional Chinese houses with curved roof corners, four high-rise Western-style buildings, gardens, and pavilions. The architectural style blends Chinese and Western elements, each with its own distinctive characteristics of the time. It is a rare collection of late Qing and early Republican period architectural structures in the Foshan area of Guangdong and is one of the largest existing Overseas Chinese houses in Jiujiang.

It is now a cultural relic protection unit in Foshan City, the Jiujiang Overseas Chinese Hometown Museum, and a testament to the culture of Jiujiang’s overseas Chinese community. It is open from January 1st to December 31st, 09:00 to 17:00 daily.
