Wudi Ancient City is located in Wudi County, Binzhou City, Shandong Province. The scenic area uses tourism to carry culture and promotes tourism with culture. It follows the three major principles of ‘preserving the ancient, restoring the ancient, and building the ancient’, and highlights the three major characteristics of ‘ancient’, ‘water’, and ‘green’. It is divided into four functional areas: historical and cultural tourist area, landscape and style leisure area, comprehensive business service area, and ecological garden residential area. Eighteen landscape highlights such as the Hehuawan Water Conservancy Scenic Area, the former residence of Wu Shifen, the four city gates and four city gate bridges, Wudi Impression, and corner towers in the scenic area, as well as the later supporting facilities and night scene lighting projects have been completed and opened to the public.
