Wugongling Village

Wugongling Village is nestled amidst towering peaks and meandering clear springs. Over a thousand years ago, the ancestors of Wugongling Village chose to settle here. Due to the limitations of geographical conditions, the entire village only has more than 1100 acres of steep slope mountain land, with land not forming continuous plots and tea not forming gardens. The saying “Entering the street from the street mouth, only green mountains are seen, not fields; pine resin for lighting, chili as salt” truly depicted the poverty and backwardness of Wugongling at that time.

In the 1960s, under the call of “Learn from Dazhai in agriculture,” the people of Wugongling went through a decade of hard work to build nearly a thousand acres of terraced tea gardens. After continuous restructuring and repair, more than 800 acres of terraced land in the village have developed into a concentrated and contiguous tea garden, forming a unique high mountain stone terraced tea garden in the country, which is spectacular. Open all year round, open all day.
