Wuling Xian Mountain is located in Shihui Town, Qianjiang District, beside National Highway 319. It is 28 kilometers away from Qianjiang City. It is located in the hinterland of Wuling Mountains and a famous mountain on the border between Sichuan and Hubei. The mountain peaks stretch for more than ten kilometers. The mountains are steep, with strange peaks standing upright, dangerous cliffs and deep valleys, and clouds and fogs enshrouding.
The main peak is 1092.8 meters above sea level. The Yuren Mountain corresponding to the main peak has a steep terrain, is uneven and abrupt, and is as beautiful as a screen. It is praised as ‘Yuren Xian Huan’. In Wuling Xian Mountain, ancient trees reach into the sky, and green leaves are dancing. Many rare plants are dotted among them, such as Chinese yew, Chinese fir, Cephalotaxus fortunei, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, Pseudotaxus chienii, Masson pine, etc. It is known as the ‘kingdom of pines and firs’. Animals such as muntjacs, leopards, yellow monkeys, wild boars, roe deer, and golden pheasants appear in the forest, endowing Wuling Xian Mountain with vitality and spiritual energy.
