Wurong Ciji Palace, located near the South Gate Bridge on Nanmen Street in Nan’an City, Quanzhou City, was originally constructed during the Southern Song Dynasty. It is dedicated to the worship of Emperor Wu Ben, the Great Emperor of Health Protection, and is one of the earlier temples in Nan’an to honor this deity.
