Wusongkou is located at the confluence of the Huangpu River and the Yangtze River, approximately 4 kilometers northwest of Baoshan District. Vessels entering and exiting the Port of Shanghai and the Yangtze River all pass through this area, which is named after its historical status as the mouth of the ancient Wusong River. The terrain on the south bank of the Yangtze River nearby is relatively flat, with an elevation of around 3 meters. It is open all year round, accessible 24 hours a day.
