Wutong Mountain National Forest Park is an urban suburban natural scenic area with mountains and natural vegetation as the main landscape. It is rich in forest vegetation resources, mainly evergreen broad-leaved forests, and preserves good historical culture, agricultural resources, local customs and folk traditions.
The main scenic spots in the park are: Donghu Misty Rain, Bufeng Pagoda Shadow, Xianhu Botanical Garden, Xiantong Scenic Area, Fenggu Mingqin, Wutong Misty Clouds, Bixiu Qifeng, and Xikeng Scenic Area.

Wutong Mountain National Forest Park has now become one of the popular places for weekend outings for citizens in Shenzhen and surrounding areas.

Opening hours: Open all year round from 06:00 to 19:00.

Must-see tips:
1. Climbing the mountain takes about 4-5 hours, and going down the mountain takes about 2 hours. It depends on personal speed. It is recommended to start early in the morning and go down the mountain before dark. Do not spend the night on the mountain. It is recommended to climb in groups.
2. When climbing in winter, prepare a thick coat. The wind on the top of the mountain is very strong and very cold. Moreover, when going down the mountain, it is close to evening and the temperature is low.
3. There are no public toilets along the entire Taishan Stream trail. There are public toilets at Haohanpo service point, Xiaoxiantong mountain top management station and the entrance of the north gate.
4. There is no place to eat on the mountain. It is recommended to bring some dry food and supplies.
5. The scenic area is closed in heavy rain and thunderstorm weather. Please consult the scenic area in advance when going on a rainy day.
