Wuyuan Bridge (Zhongzhaiwan Bridge) is located at the estuary of the inner lake formed by reclamation in the northeastern part of Xiamen Island. The two ends of the bridge are connected to the Wutong Reclamation Area and Dunshang Reclamation Area of the round-island road project.
The total length of the bridge is 810 meters. The main bridge is 34.9 meters wide, and the approach bridges are 32 meters wide. The main bridge is a steel structure half-through basket-handle arch bridge, with a main span of 208 meters and two side spans of 58 meters each. Each of the approach bridges at both ends consists of 6 holes of 40-meter prestressed continuous box girders.

The main design feature of Wuyuan Bridge is that the bridge type is a three-span steel box arch half-through basket-handle arch bridge, which is also a highlight of the development of Wuyuan Bay. The Wuyuan Bay Extra-large Bridge on Huanhuli Avenue is a key project affecting the progress of Huanhuli Avenue.

Huanhuli Avenue starts from Zhongzhai in the north and ends at Huangcuo in the south. It is a north-south arterial road on Xiamen Island. Together with two other bridges, it will improve the road network structure of Wuyuan Bay and boost the economic vitality of the area.

After the introduction of seawater, Wuyuan Bridge and its four other “sisters” will form a new Xiamen scenic spot of “Five Bridges Reflecting the Moon”.

Opening hours: Open 24 hours a day throughout the year.
