Wuyuanhe Sports Center in Haikou City is home to a first-class stadium. This stadium is designed to incorporate marine elements, giving it the appearance of an open shell. The stands are constructed with a steel membrane structure and are covered with PTFE material. The seating arrangement is a visual treat, with six different colors that mimic the layers of the ocean. These colors transition from deep to light, creating an immersive experience as if one is in a beautiful ocean.
The stadium boasts 41,424 seats, including 80 barrier-free seats and 80 accompanying seats. It is capable of hosting national and international competitions, meeting the standards for venues and support facilities required for national-level winter training bases across multiple sports. Additionally, it is well-equipped to host national football matches, national track and field competitions, opening and closing ceremonies of comprehensive sports events, and concerts.
The stadium is open all day, every day of the year.
