Wuzhiyan Scenic Area is located in the northern part of Yongkang City, bordering Yiwu City to the northwest, and neighboring Dongyang to the north. The main peak stands at an elevation of 712 meters, covering an area of five square kilometers, which is approximately twice as high as the famous Fangyan in Eastern Zhejiang. Hence, a local saying goes: ‘Fangyan is high, but it doesn’t reach halfway up Wuzhiyan.’ Wuzhiyan rises abruptly from the ground, standing tall and majestic, known as ‘Five Fingers Probing the Clouds,’ and is one of the top ten scenic spots in Yongkang. In the early morning, the area is shrouded in mist and rosy clouds, and in the evening, it is bathed in the glow of the setting sun, making it an ideal place for climbing and enjoying panoramic views.
The Wuzhiyan Scenic Area is divided into three major scenic spots: Mipu, Taoyan, and Zhifeng, as well as nearby attractions such as Jiuxie Beach and Shiniu Mountain. It is open to visitors from 8:00 to 18:00 all year round.
