Wuzhou Park

Wuzhou Park is bordered by Shengli South Street to the east and Piao Ping Road to the north, facing Tianning Temple across the road. After its renovation in 2004, the original Wuzhou Park and Children’s Park were merged and renamed Wuzhou Park. Additional attractions and structures were added, enriching the park’s offerings.

‘Ancient Charm of Clear Waves’ consists of Clear Wave Gate Square, the ancient Clear Wave Gate archway, Cen Cui Lake, and Cen Cui Pavilion. The archway faces the water, opposite the Cen Cui Pavilion, with reflections in the lake creating an interesting scene.

‘Ode to Light’ is a cultural square themed around the commemoration of Ai Qing, primarily for night views, highlighting light effects through fountains, paving, and lighting to honor the poet Ai Qing.

‘Flower Stream and Springs’ is a small stream connecting Cen Cui Lake and Clear Wave Lake, creating a natural and wild landscape with stone banks, pebbles, aquatic plants, and gentle slopes on both banks.

‘Clear Sky and Cloud Reflections’ is composed of the original Ming Xiang Xuan, Clear Wave Lake, Ling Bo Pavilion, Water Scene Platform, and Floating Cloud Island, forming the main lake landscape of the park. With a gentle breeze, clear waves, and cloud reflections, it is an ideal place for visitors to enjoy tea, reminisce, play chess, and socialize.

‘Return Garden’ is a traditional garden landscape with mountains and water, where the layout of ancient buildings is ingenious, and the plant configuration is just right, making it a great place for visitors to enjoy tea and chat, play chess, and meet friends.

‘Winding Water to Secluded Places’ is a small stream connecting the bright Clear Wave Lake with the quiet Return Garden pool, flowing into the Return Garden pool through the Lian Li Pavilion. The pavilion faces the water, with winding streams and dense shade, creating a tranquil picture.

‘Double Stream Fisherman’s Song’ is located north of the black pine forest, with dense trees around the Shuang Xi Pavilion. Visitors can listen to the sound of the pine waves and watch the fishing song picture at the Sanjiangkou sunset.

The bull sculpture is south of the water platform, which not only highlights the momentum of the sculpture but also extends the open space of the large lawn to the water surface in the river. To the west of the lawn is a cedar forest, to the east is a maple forest, and to the south is an osmanthus forest, with a variety of flowers and shrubs.

‘Mist and Rain over the Green Dawn’ is mainly composed of the Clear Wave Building. On rainy days, looking at the Clear Wave Building and the forests that appear and disappear in the rain and fog from the other side of the bank, the hazy trees, pavilions, and river water are like a fairyland.

The park is open all day from January 1st to December 31st.
