Besides water entertainment, visitors can also explore Niuwang Island (Niuwang Ridge), a miniature island nearly connected to Xi Island. Accessible by electric cart via the West Island Ring Road and a long marine plank road, Niuwang Island offers pristine island scenery. From a height, one can admire the magnificent sea and sky, the naturally carved reef landscapes, and the grand sunrise and sunset views. To the north, one can overlook the cityscape of Sanya, while to the south, one can take in the vast expanse of the South China Sea.

Xi Island, known as a ‘diving holy land,’ has designated diving areas with clear and azure waters and a rich variety of marine life. Here, you can dive into the ocean, linger among the coral reefs, and experience the joy of being surrounded by corals and dancing with schools of fish.


Surrounded by the azure waters of Sanya Bay, Xi Island is a paradise for marine sports. With its wide and calm waters, it offers a thrilling experience of marine speed and passion. You can immerse yourself in the blue ocean, feel the unique charm of dynamic excitement, and fully enjoy the joy of diving into the ocean. Over 20 marine sports are available, including sailing, parasailing, water flying dragon, motorboats, banana boats, flying fish boats, and dynamic speedboats.


The island is open all year round from 08:00 to 19:00. The time from Xiaoqi Port to Xi Island (boarding) is from 08:00 to 17:30, and the time from Xi Island back to Xiaoqi Port (disembarking) is from 08:30 to 19:00. The boat schedule is on a rolling basis, with a sailing time of approximately 15-20 minutes. Business hours and disembarking times are subject to change based on sea conditions and weather, so please refer to real-time notifications for the actual situation.


Preferential policies include:


Children: Children under 1.2 meters (not including) or under 6 years old (not including) enter for free; minors aged 6 to 18 enter at half price.


Students: Full-time primary, middle, and high school students (excluding adult education, postgraduate and higher education) are eligible for half-price entrance tickets with a valid student ID (students with full-time undergraduate degrees and below).


Elderly Hainan Residents: Elderly residents of Hainan aged 60 to 69 (inclusive) can enter at half price with a Hainan Senior Citizen Preferential Certificate, calculated based on the birth date on their ID card.


Military Personnel: Active-duty military personnel from the People’s Liberation Army and the Armed Police Force can enter for free with valid documents such as Officer’s Certificate, Armed Police Officer’s Certificate, Military Civilian Cadre Certificate, Soldier’s Certificate, or Military Police Academy Student Certificate.
