Xi Xi Cultural Ecological Tourism is centered around the Xi Xi River basin, with culture and ecology as its foundation, featuring covered bridges and ancient architecture. It spans from Wai Shan Village and Niu Dang Mountain in the north to Xian Feng Village in the south, from Bi Jia Mountain in the west to Chang Gang Tou Ridge in the east, including the areas of Jia Keng and Shi Zhu Zhou, covering an area of approximately 17.

8 square kilometers. The distribution of tourism resources is characterized by large dispersion and small concentration, including Xi Pu Cultural Garden Village, Xi Xi Ancient Architectural Complex, Xi Xi Waterfront Scenic Belt, Jia Keng Red Tourism Area, Bi Jia Mountain Mountain Scenic Belt, and Shi Zhu Zhou Gorge. Xi Xi River Rafting, located six kilometers upstream from the head of Xi Xi River, is an excellent destination for summer vacation tourism.

The rafting course is 5 kilometers long with a drop of 170 meters, taking over two hours to complete. The rafting equipment consists of inflatable kayaks. The rafting bed has been meticulously designed by experts, with the kayaks sometimes leaping into the air, sometimes diving underwater, and occasionally passing through tunnels hundreds of meters long, making the rafting route exciting and thrilling.

The starting and ending points of Xi Xi River Rafting connect to eight scenic spots, including Ping Keng Outdoor Expansion Area, Heng Shi (Long Jing Gorge), Xia Ping, Bai Zhang Jia, Long Tan, Moon Bay, Xi Xi Ancient Village, and Fu Shou Covered Bridge, integrating the rafting journey with the appreciation of landscape, creating a water-based experience that combines fun and sightseeing. Xi Xi River Rafting offers both the wild excitement of rafting and the leisurely enjoyment of a natural oxygen bar.

While experiencing the dynamic and thrilling entertainment, you can also enjoy the ever-changing natural scenery, breathe the fresh air rich in negative ions from the natural oxygen bar, embrace and kiss nature, indulge your mood, and enjoy freedom and relaxation, allowing one to ‘cast away worldly affairs and return to nature’. Xi Xi Township, located at the eastern gate of Shou Ning County, Fujian Province, is a key old revolutionary base in Fujian Province, named after the rhinoceros hoof marks left on the rocks downstream of the river.

Xi Xi Township boasts an ancient covered bridge (Zhuan Fu Shou Bridge) and a historic stone slab bridge. In recent years, Xi Xi Township has developed its tourism industry, establishing entertainment projects such as rafting. The Ecological Cultural Rafting upstream of Xi Xi Village in Xi Xi Township is known as the ‘First Raft of Haixi’, and tourists have praised it as ‘thrilling yet safe!’. The opening hours are from June 1st to October 31st, from 11:30 to 17:30.
