The Xiayan Museum is a professional museum for development, learning, research, and innovation. It is also an important platform for centrally displaying Hechuan Xiayan and famous inkstones from various places throughout history. Established in 2021, the exhibition hall covers an area of 439 square meters and has more than a thousand collections. It has exhibition areas for inkstones of past dynasties, modern inkstones, on-site experience areas, and on-site production areas.
It is open to the public free of charge all year round. Each year, it receives more than 30,000 practical students, Xiayan enthusiasts, and tourists from various places. It has become an important place for learning skills for Hechuan intangible cultural heritage and Xiayan carving enthusiasts.
