Xiadong Park is located to the east of Xiadong Village, approximately 700 meters straight down from the front of the former Meimei Battery Factory on the main road. With convenient transportation, it has become another popular leisure spot for the public in Raocheng, following Shanglin Park and Da’ao Park.
The park is designed by a renowned master and features a strong Chaoshan style, with hints of Jiangnan gardens. The main axis of the park is the entrance passage, with the stage at the center and the park’s lake as the backdrop. Small bridges and pavilions are scattered throughout, creating a scenery that leaves visitors lingering.
