Xiàhào Old Street is located in the Nan’an District of Chongqing, close to Nanbin Road, and situated on a slope near the Dongshuimen Yangtze River Bridge. It primarily consists of several streets including Xiàhào Main Street, Dongjia Bridge, Jue Lin Temple Street, and Pu Tao Yuan. On June 15, 2016, the Old Street Garden project was officially launched. On July 17, 2016, Ao Wei was invited to speak at a TED event in Chongqing, and her story along with that of Xiàhào Old Street became known to many more people. She is referred to as the ‘Lady of Nan’an’. The opening hours are all year round, open all day, with specific business status subject to the day’s opening conditions.
