The Xiàjiǔlù Zhāixīngtái is located in the Xingquanli alley within the Xiàjiǔlù pedestrian street in Liwan District. The Zhāixīngtái offers a rare and expansive viewing perspective of Guangzhou’s Xiguan area. Looking out from the Zhāixīngtái, one can see the brightly lit Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, the morning bells and evening drums of Hualin Temple, and the worldly scenes of old Xiguan all at a glance. Against the backdrop of mottled blue bricks and in the rippling water of the ‘star well’, it seems as if one has traveled back a thousand years. Open all year round from 09:00 to 00:00.
