Xiamen Bay Park: A Perfect Destination for Families and Nightlife

During the day, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the sea to the west and the Yuandang Lake to the east within the park. At night, the vibrant bar street offers a lively atmosphere for socializing. The park, which features an amusement park, is particularly suitable for families with children. Located on the west side of Hubin West Road, between the western sea area of Xiamen and Yuandang Lake, Xiamen Bay Park is divided into North and South Gardens by the Starlight Boulevard, with three entrances: East, North, and South. The amusement park and skateboarding area are situated in the North Garden, closer to the East and North entrances, where you can find exciting rides such as a drop tower and space exploration attractions.

Near the South entrance, there is a swimming pool in Xiamen Bay Park, perfect for a summer swim. The bars are located on the west coast area. As dusk falls, the bar street comes alive with twinkling lights, offering a unique charm. The bars here include both open-air and indoor options, where you can enjoy the sea breeze, refreshing beer, and live performances by resident bands. Although the prices are not low, they continue to draw a crowd of bar enthusiasts.

The Starlight Boulevard, which serves as a dividing line, is also one of the highlights of Xiamen Bay Park. It is adorned with numerous LED floor lights, which are typically not illuminated but are activated for major festivals along with the fountains. The fountain operates from 9 am to 11 am, 3 pm to 5 pm, and 7 pm to 9 pm. If you happen to visit during a public holiday, you can witness the spectacle of the lights and fountains in unison. The park is open all year round, with full-day access.
