The Xiamen Campus of Huaqiao University is one of the two campuses of Huaqiao University. It is located in Jimei District, Xiamen City, Fujian Province. Construction started in 2004 and it was officially put into use in 2006.
The construction of the Xiamen Campus of Huaqiao University is a major decision made by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council to further give play to the role of Huaqiao University in the national overseas Chinese affairs work. It is also a strategic plan for Huaqiao University to vigorously develop Chinese education, expand overseas enrollment, improve the school-running level, and further do a good job in the work of “serving overseas Chinese”.

The total floor area of the Xiamen Campus is 1.32 million square meters, with a planned construction area of 600,000 square meters and a total investment of 1.6 billion yuan. Among them, the construction area of the first-phase project is 300,000 square meters and the total investment is 830 million yuan.
